Lithuania, Vilnius : Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre

On 8 and 9 May, the streets of Vilnius will be buzzing with activities and events celebrating Europe Day. Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre will add a taste of Opera and Dance to the day!

At the Lithuanian National Opera Theatre, students of the Opera studio for children and of the classical dance studio ‘Polekis’ will perform pieces from various operas and ballets, such as Carmen and The Nutcracker. The theatre will open its doors on both days and everyone will be welcome to take part in backstage tours (reservation required). Finally, on Sunday 9 May, the world première of The Tiny Lingonberry, an opera for children by Jonas Tamulionis, will be followed by a meeting with the creative team and opera characters.
