After last year’s success, National Theatre Brno is part of the European Opera Days again.
This time, opera will leave its usual stage and directly approach the inhabitants of Brno, in a space typical for their everyday life: on Sunday 9 May, the European Opera Days will be celebrated in the city's biggest shopping centre, a spectacular space where business and culture live side by side.
The leading singers of the Janáček Opera will be the stars of an haute couture fashion show. Famous opera tunes will accompany the show created by the fashion director of the Olympia shopping centre, with the participation of clothing brands such as Zara, Mango, Gant, Benneton, Sisley, Cottonfield, Guess by Marciano, Vero Moda and Tommy Hilfiger. National Theater Brno will use the fashion show runway as a symbol for a bridge connecting opera with everyday life - because opera is an important part of our lives!
